Volunteer/Get Involved

Whether you are a parent, community member or business, there are many opportunities for you to be involved at Bromley East Charter School. Sharing your time and talents enriches the educational experience for our students, provides additional support to our teachers and staff and promotes positive school/community partnerships.

Volunteer at a School

From the classroom to the library to the lunchroom, there are many volunteer opportunities:

  • Classroom
  • Clerical help (in classroom and/or front office)
  • Listen to/read to students
  • Help students with activities
  • Field trips
  • School events
  • Take home classroom tasks

If you are interested in volunteering in a particular classroom please contact that teacher directly.

Volunteer Application Process

Colorado legislation has prompted a greater need to screen and document volunteers in our schools. To ensure your understanding of the expectations BECS has while volunteering with our amazing students and staff, every volunteer must complete the following steps (form links located in the upper right hand link section) :

  1. Complete a Volunteer Application (This information will be automatically linked to our Raptor System.)
  2. Review the Volunteer Orientation
  3. Fill out the Volunteer Acknowledgement.
The good news is you only need to complete this form once per school year.

The safety and security of our students and staff remains our top priority. Every person entering our buildings must have a School ID or a badge printed from the Raptor System. Please have a valid Government-issued ID every time you visit the building. Volunteers and guests must check in at the front office and wear a Raptor Name Badge. IDs are scanned every time you enter, as they are NOT stored for future check-ins. Although we recognize many of our families, this is for the safety of all staff and students.  Please help us by always having your ID with you while at BECS.

We thank you for your partnership in keeping our school safe!
