Website Accessibility

 

Bromley East Charter School is committed to ensuring inclusivity in access to digital content, including our web pages, for all members of our community. This includes individuals with disabilities in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Section 504 requires organizations to ensure that persons with disabilities seeking information or services from us, have access to and use of all information and data that is commensurate to the access and use by persons who are not individuals with disabilities, unless an undue burden is imposed on the organization. 

 

What are we doing?

Bromley East Charter School is in the process of transitioning our website to a new content managment system and redesigning our website. 

 

To help us make the Bromley East Charter School website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Bromley East Charter School website.

 

How are we doing?

We are actively working toward the goal of the WCAG Level AA accessibility compliance on the Bromley East Charter School website.  If you do find any problems, please get in touch.
